The Matchbreaker, a feature film from Vetter Brothers Filmworks, is a romantic comedy starring Wesley Elder, who co-wrote the movie, the talented artist Christina Grimmie, Osric Chau, Shawna Howson, Olan Rogers, and Tessa Violet.

Here’s a brief synopsis:

When an idealistic romantic gets fired from his day job, he is offered a “one-time gig” to break up a girl’s relationship for her disapproving parents. This “one-time” gig spreads through word-of-mouth and he ends up becoming a professional match-breaker. However, he ends up falling for one of his clients and must figure out how to balance his secret job with his love-life.

Along with a great cast, the movie is an emotionnal ride you’d be happy to take.

Behind this great storyline, we can discover the journey of the characters trying to deal with love and its complications. The performance of the cast brings us from tears in our eyes to laugh. The soundtrack of the movie plunges us into a maze of jazz, love and sincerity.

“True love can just wait”

I had the chance to watch The Matchbreaker recently and let me tell you, it’s a beautiful movie. What makes it more beautiful is to be able to see the amazingly talented Christina Grimmie appearing on screen and delivering an amazing performance, both with her acting and her singing.

While I won’t talk about the tragedy that occured a few months ago, I can say that Christina Grimmie will be remembered by a lot of people. This movie was a great way to admired her talent.

I actually recommend it to anyone !
