Just because you don’t see it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.

In a world where mental health is considered less important than physical health, it is time to speak up & spread awereness around that matter. Mental Illness is real. Too real sometines. Even though, it all takes place in our heads. It’s a real problem. I wish some people knew that one thing:

“Just because you don’t see it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.”.

Did you know that, according to the World Health Organization, mental disorders affect one in four people ? They said:

“One in four people in the world will be affected by mental or neurological disorders at some point in their lives. Around 450 million people currently suffer from such conditions, placing mental disorders among the leading causes of ill-health and disability worldwide.”

Mental illnesses are surrounding us every day. Even when we don’t see it. It could affect anyone. Whether they expected it or not. So, next time you see someone struggling with their mental health, remember that they don’t do it to get your attention or to obtain your pity. They’re just battling with their minds & trying to get better. You can always help them, by listening to them or asking them what they need. But, mostly, be patient with them.
